Tell us more!

Mandy Simonson is a Portland-based comedian whose older brothers’ childhood tormenting left her with thick skin and a sharp wit. She began stand-up mostly to show her two daughters “she’s ACTUALLY funny”. Mandy connects with audiences about surviving breast cancer, divorce, and international adoption—all after a career as a police officer in a law enforcement family. Mandy was selected as  “Best of the Fest” performer at the SLO Comedy Festival in early 2025. She has earned coveted spots performing in the 2025 Boston Comedy Festival and the 2024 Seattle International Comedy Competition.  She is a regular performer  at Laugh’s Comedy Club in Seattle and is a touring comedian with the National comedy show “Mom’s Unhinged”.  She has earned comedy residencies in both NYC and Austin. She has opened for national headlining comedians, Gabe Rutledge, Nancy Norton, Bo Johnson, Susan Rice and Katie Boyle, to name a few. She also co-host’s the podcast, Late to the Game.
